UK’s Best Workplaces

Great Place to Work today published a list of the UK’s Best Work Places. This organisation looks at a range of companies assessing leadership, people management and positive workplace culture.

This year’s winner is Baringa Partners. Economic Consultancy firm, Frontier Economics, who are one of our patrons here at the LSE, also feature. They were ranked 20th  overall and 3rd in the category “Best Quality of Life”.

If you are looking for alternative careers, outside of academia, this website may be a good starting point as it lists ‘good employers’ across many sectors, all of whom have a reputation for valuing their employees. These include small and medium size enterprises (SMEs), which are sometimes difficult to find when looking through career resources.
